I have never pre booked a driver, we always just chill out for first couple of days taking short trips with a driver off the street and if we like him we then take his number and work from that. There are heaps and heaps of drivers and as we are all different,we will all have different preference as to what is your "ideal" driver.You may want a chatty ,jovial fella with a decked out van and music where as others may prefer a careful driver,with good english and not so chatty.Thats the reason why I always chose a couple when I meet them for myself.Just my opinion,hope it helps.Dont stress and enjoy your trip.
