It all seems hit and miss to me and the people who claim to pop it and never have a problem...well, perhaps they washed their hands and ate at good places with high turnover anyway.
Travelan is made from cow's colostrum following treatment of the cows to produce antibodies. It is aimed at E Coli but claims to have some effect on other bugs but doesn't list them.
As Travelan has only been registered in Oz for 4 years it will be interesting to see how long it takes to build resistance. Interestingly there are no side effects listed by the manufacturer which must be a first!...very odd!
