We stayed in a privately owned 2br apartment in june. The resort is lovely, our apartment was fantastic, had everything imaginable you could want.
Breakfast at the hotel was very nice and really there arent any other options for brekkie.
Out of the front of the hotel and to the left literally a 3 minute walk there are restaurants and shops. Not an over abundance, but a few different ones to choose from and they were all very nice. There is also a laundry down the end of that street. Also places to buy water etc.
The private beach at the hotel is nice. Turn right from the resort facilities at the beach and walk along and you come to a very ordinary looking snack bar. Great cheap food. Good spot for lunch.
Enjoy - be prepared it is a quiet area. So you need to be happy going to the beach and swimming in the pool
The kids club at the novotel looked pretty good although our son is 12 so we didnt use it. Also you can buy icypoles, icecreams etc at the hotel. There is a bakery/coffee shop within the hotel. It was a rip off and the food was very ordinary. We had lunch at the restaurant once though and that was very nice.
Enjoy
