why dont you say that is your major gripe in your original post and NOT just flying back via Darwin. AND Jetstar are not the only airline that can fail to pass on important information to their customers. Have flown with Jetstar many times both internationally and domestic - never had a problem. Saying that have had problems with Virgin Blue, Lufthansa, Vietnam Ailines, Continental, and Thai. I suppose you're one of those that had a whine and blamed Jetstar when Syndey airport closed it's doors for customers who had cancelled flights and had to wait overnight. Perhaps we should all pay another di**head tax to keep the airport open.
By the way...? Did you END up in Darwin or Sydney????
