home grown tried and tested knowledge. I agree with what was mostly posted on the TA website. Just remember somebody has to be "sober Bob" pp in driving a car around.
"Coastal Drives" are not exactly like the great ocean road or seaside suburbs of most AUS cities. A large degree of beaches you can see only from cliff height. The rest like Casuarina etc you need some serious mud maps these days.
Def look at the Fannie Bay and Nightcliff foreshore. Nightcliff has a little pub opposite the park that leads to the foreshore. Great Fish n chips easy lunch and far less expensive than Cullen bay. ( thats if the majority of CB Restuarants are even open in the off season & for lunch)
