Some organizations ask for volunteers.

From what I have been told & read on the websites this enables the volunteer to do volunteer work in that specific area & for that organization for the period of time stated?
I'm assuming that the visa applied for therefore allows you to do this legally.

The volunteer does however have to pay costs for the visa,travel, accommodation (where the organization stipulates)food,etc & sometimes work in remote areas & work hard.
It's not exactly like an extended holiday ...
