Over Alcohol Allowance

I am new to this forum and have been reading a lot of useful information, thankyou all for sharing. My question is I know that you can only take 1 litre of alcohol into Bali however I would like to know if anyone has taken more and delared it to customs and if so the duty that they charged for this. I would really like to be able to take a couple of bottles of wine with me that I know won't be available in Bali?
