hotels that are adbertised in travel agent brochures such as the IDA that it was cheaper to go with a package deal than direct. So maybe do a package deal with the IDA and then have extra time by own arrnagements on your ticket. Then book Suriwathi direct yourself.
The superior rooms at the IDA are fine and yes the beds are quite comfortable and the hotel is suitable for solo travellers and couples, maybe not so good for families, pool area small. If you want lots of people for your entertainment then forget IDA.
