We chose this visa because this is what they told us to apply for. We are going to apply for the spouse visa probably at the end of this year. Which has a waiting period of about 3 to 6 months anyway.
My current work contract here in Jakarta expires June next year, and we will move down to Brisbane after that.
When they asked for that amount this morning I was quite suprised, last time we applied (september last year) it was still only 660 thousand with a processing fee of 150 thousand.
