after all the years we have been going to Bali, never once have we used any of the lounges....well this year I had written in my book to check in early and go straight to the dewi lounge.

Usually leaving Bali is a very stressful time for me as I know I am always heaps over weight and when you get there late and have to line up it becomes even more stressfull....well I am happy to report that never again will I arrive at the airport past 8pm.

This year we got there at 8pm and were the first ones there, wow what a shock that was, no lines, no cranky people only happy balinese people......went straight to the counter and booked our luggage in (we had already been and got our boarding passes the day before at Garuada Office in Kuta Paradiso)....of course I was 47kg over and only had to pay $100 (very happy with this, if the lines were there Im sure I would have had to pay heaps more.

Anyway we were on a mission to find the Dewi Lounge, after about 15mins we came across the Dewa Lounge and I said to hubby nope thats not it as it says in my book the Dewi Lounge and Id seen a sign for both lounges about 5mins back.....anyway from the look he gave me we ended up at the Dewa Lounge.

There were 4adults and 4 kids in total and we all paid 100,000rp each........this was the best money I think Ive spent in Bali!!!! We all couldnt believe it - first we went upstairs and picked which lounges we could all relax in and watch tv, then we checked out the food and couldnt believe what was on offer - all really hot and fresh, we had nasi goreng, me goreng, sausage rolls, mini pizzas, sandwhiches, beautiful cakes and fresh fruit......then to top it all off there were fridges full of bintang, water, coke, diet coke etc but then we found Bicardi, Scotch, Vodka etc, couldnt believe our eyes, so of course we indulged!!! For the smokers you can even sit and relax with spirit in hand upstairs watching tele and having a fag!!

Never again will we be in the queue at the airport. It was the most stress free trip home Ive ever had, of course the bicardi and diet cokes helped aswell.
