They seemed to be renovating the two storey units on the RHS before the reception area at the front. There is new work being done next to housekeeping too, but I didn't see inside any other rooms - they were all full. They are still full - a perpetually dissatisfied acquaintance wanted to change rooms (bathroom mould?) but nothing else available. We wanted to book Aug next year, but all full too - so despite the problems it is still a desirable place. Most of the folk we spoke too had been coming for years....
Bonsai was always well patronised, food was good, and prices fair.
Several other eateries as good in the area.
