I just tend to lurk her these days & post when I see something that is of interest, then I make a post.I especially keep an eye out for posts from friends.

Surely by now you have realised that there are many countries to explore other than Indonesian & many people here visit countries other than Indonesia. Many people consider that there is way more to do on a holiday than sit on a beach or by a pool & drink Bintang.Although I suppose each to their own,if that is what someone wants to do on their holiday & they paid for it.Bit the same as if for a certain amount of time each day my hubby & I enjoy reading either on the beach,by the pool or in our room & enjoy having some quiet time out immersed in a good book.Ut's out choice.

Personally I can't understand anyone wanting to confine themselves to one place for the same holiday year in & out & staying in the same country ,let alone the same village/city & not exploring further afield - but then it's a case of each to their own.If that's what someone enjoys on their holiday that they paid for - then good luck to them but I'd be bored witless.

I really enjoy finding out more about other countries customs & cultures & love exploring bigger sections of the globe & discovering what there is to do,see, smell, hear & taste - in a variety of places, not just the same place each year or several times a year. It's called being adventurous & having an imagination (Opps,Sorry I forgot I read books every day so don't have an imagination of my own)

It is really can be surprising when you use your imagination & realise your dreams & discover the places you have read about & then & feel you want to explore more & more & see more countries & cities.Often it's not until you read about a place that you can realise you want to see more of this wonderful world that we live in.

Do you get the impression that saying I or others lack imagination because we regularly read has got me riled up? Even our mutual friend from the Riverland agrees. As I have said before I can not imagine living in a world without books.

It's a real pity your parents didn't introduce you to to joys of reading as a young lad,you have missed out on so much if you don't enjoy being totally immersed into a good book.
