i did a fair bit of research before i left on places to look at and measurements etc...we purchased from LARAS located on By Pass Ngurah Rai 465 Denphelpfulasar...phone 726505...Herman is the owner, i dealt with Vanda, she was helpful..My friend wayan and us were driving back from Pelack Furniture gallery on opposite side and he pulled in to Laras...I liked what i saw but still wanted to check out another place...Bali Carpenter in Seminyak...this place was a very polished well set business and i think that may reflect in thier price? still very nice stuff.look at www.bali-carpenter.com...from the 3 i looked at and compared prices i chose Laras...i also purchased 2 large garden lamps and 2 large tall frangipani carved lamps with bowl on top...these were $500000 and $350000 each so say $45 and $65 each? (using 7700rp)- also chose big flat carved stone budha face - hes lovely and $700000 $90 plus a "todok" frog carved stone statue $250000.. Gazebo is 2.5 x 2.5 so roof overhang will be more - i think another 50cm square. Roof is terracotta lined with rattan with decorative edges (i think dragon? curving upwards) with big crown on top...coconut pole with plain frangipani carving around top of each pole...Gazebo is raised 50cm from ground...Price for 2mtr with shingle roof (iron wood "ulen") was $9000000.00 but we changed size and got carving, tiled roof with dec corners $15000000.00 we only paid $300 aussie deposit and then will transfer balance into my indo friends account when ready - he will then go pay for us...also what you have to do is get your stuff packed...my friend is also doing this...he knows a packing company that will pack gazebo and stone stuff cheaper than Laras..then I have to get put on truck and sent to Solo where my bosses containers go from...this i think will end up being around $150 aussie..once gazebo is built Laras takes a photo to email to me then if i am happy they then knock down and it gets crated and packed...even for then also to remember to pack extra tiles to allow for breakage...Freight is costing me nothing...My boss is perth imports alot from indo so he was generous in letting me having container space...I will pay for packing and trucking to solo and thats it...I hope this info helps? if you would like my friends details - let me know he does alot of this for a few businesses in aus, like cargo cost etc..we did do cargo a few years ago and bought in around 6 Vespas...Just remember that the Wooden Roof (shingle flat wooden tile). is now apparently not allowed or hard to get to Aus...A company called Sourcing Bali told me this, changes came into effect last august 07...of course gazebo companys will not tell you this!! luckily my perth boss told me to contact sourcing bali for any importing info...any questions just ask me...thanks lisa
