we went to bali in 2007 with our 3kids, we stayed at the Melasti Beach. I was happy with it as I had a room overlooking pool so when my 2yr old was asleep i could still be outside with my other kids & hubby, or having massage. We had booked 2 deluxe rooms(which are newer and a lot bigger), but changed to 2 superior rooms because they were overlooking the bigger pool(there were deluxe rooms in same area but all full!)I love the look of the Mandira and of course the Padma but you can't get this close to the pools which was more important to me.Legian is a great area, lots of great resturants close to go to with the kids. One thing we did was take the kids on the Bali Bike tour we all loved it!!
