We did the Air North bit - flying Sydney to Denpasar with Garuda business class and then economy on Air North in June this year. Did this because of the 9.15pm departure and into bed in Daughter's home before 2.00am. BUT it is actually cheaper to fly Garuda business class both legs and, unfortunately getting in around 5.00am. We are trying this option in 2 week's time and will go straight to an airport hotel in Darwin before arriving in Daughter's home in the afternoon. Couldn't see us arriving at her house around 6.00am, waking everyone up and then trying to keep awake all day.
