the only pearls that come from Lombok are sea pearls. Pretty much all fresh water pearls for sale in Bali come from China. Some come from China via Lombok via Surabaya. The sellers that claim their fresh water pearls are lombok pearls are having you on. Actually I found that most of the pearl sellers in Lombok don't know where the pearls come from.
