Dancing out of Bali - John Coast *Excellent and easy to read

A House in Bali - Colin McPhee *Excellent and easy to read

Our Hotel in Bali - Louise G Koke *Excellent and easy to read

Island of Bali - Miguel Covarrubias
*Just finished this - very interesting look at the people and their culture. Written/published in the 30's I think, but so much sounds the same.

Fragrant Rice - Janet De Neefe
*Loved this and have since done the cooking course and stayed at the Honeymoon Guesthouse

Bali Chronicles - Willard A Hanna *Good History on Bali

Bali: Behind the Seen - Short stories by Balinese & Javanese writers.Fictional but shows some of the difficulties in the lives of the Balinese & Javanese. Glimpse beyond what the tourist sees. Found this very good too.
