there has been a flurry of flippant, sarcastic and otherwise bordering on the pi*staking side in messages posted on this forum.
This has now even extended to postings by our Kiwi cousins, who clearly have nothing to be jocular about.
It is a worrying trend on a forum that , to date has limited any attempts at humour to taking the Mick out of the wording in a Balinese menu.
This is a worrying trend, and could deteriorate to the point where postings are actually entertaining, as opposed to providing the hard information that is required.
Can we please focus on the important matters I.E.
Airline food
What time will the plane leave?
How much is the VOA if I pay in Deuchmarks?
Can I take mars bars into Bali?
How much are tee shirts?
Will my home phone work if I take it with me?
Can I find transport anywhere?
Is it OK if my kids shoot other guests with BB guns?
Can I ride a scooter with an Icelandic sled licence?
Are there any food places in Kuta?
Is it legal to strangle the German who has left a towel on a lounger?
etc. etc. etc.
Let's get back to the things that REALLY matter!!
