Your friend just needs to go to the village office with his birth certificate and his sons birth certificate and makes a new family card with him and his son on. I have a family card with my husband (balinese) and we just redid a couple of years ago to put our daughter on. Its a bit of running round for him but nothing too strenuous and also doesnt cost a fortune. Michelle
