We stayed there in Feb this year and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the warmth of the water. Living in Darwin I am used to swimming in warm water 26 degrees water temp before I get in.
Around lunch time and later in the afternoon the pool was crowded but plenty of lounge chairs.
We stayed again in August, water was freezing but I never swim anywhere at that time of year - too cold. There were a few people in the pool
