you take off as little or as much as you like, it is up to you. Not everywhere has paper undies so you can just leave your knickers on. If you prefer a sarong then maybe pop one in your bag but I expect most places would have them. I sometimes get ticklish, so I will say 'please don't massage here' and there is no problem, also if you prefer softer or harder just say so. If you have not had a professional massage before then I would suggest you go to one of the more upmarket places first, you will love it.
