They have dug along for where the path is going but only paved to about the Dynasty the beach itself is pretty rubbly and they are building tide barriers so they can make the beach wider like they did at Sanur. On the sign at Santika it says late 2008 but one of the girls on the beach said 2 years but maybe she means the whole project. You can still sit above the beach, watch the planes land and the kids flying their kites which is fun. The new pool is really great and plenty of chairs even though pretty full. You'll enjoy it.
