A very well earnt holiday. I must say.
My 17 year old daughter Sharee was a front seat passenger of a car her friend was driving which had a serious car accident on 20th Feb 08.
She was in a serious condition in hospital and nearly died.
She had a fractured skull, broken bone in the neck, a broken rib, broken pelvis, a broken bone in the spine, just above the spinal cord and a blood clot on the brain. A long recovery. Many hours of rehabilitation. Which is done in Newcastle at the Hunter brain unit.
Its a 2 hour drive from our house every day to get her in there and home.
The brake done us all good but now we are home it is back to the routine of rehabilitation twice a week as she has a slight brain damage. I forgot to write in my JBR that she lost her boarding pass at KL airport. Ran around looking for it for 45 minutes. We found it. LOL. The bleed on her brain is the side of the brain for memory and concentration. She forgets so much. Thx!
