especially if you travel further afield than the Southern tourist areas.
It is actually the same as what we know as a street directory with very detailed maps of the little gangs & laneways & a lot of other useful information provided that isn't on smaller maps.
I often use it to work out exactly where we are when we are in a car with a driver travelling from one side of Bali to the other,it makes the trip a bit more interesting & if I find something on the map that I like the sound of we can make a detour & check it out.
Our copy is a few years old but we didn't buy our copy in Oz but at the book section in Matahari's in Kuta.Over the years I have also seen it at Ramayana in Denpasar,the bookstore in Ubud,the Denpasar airport & other bookstores in Kuta.Maybe if you have a friend going to Bali before you are you could ask for a copy to be bought home for you.
When I looked at the web site for Ganesha books in Ubud (who do mail orders) they currently have listed the Bali Street Atlas being available for $16.95US. Maybe check out their web page & send them an email to find out what delivery charges would be.
