We stayed at the Alum a few years ago. Its a nice hotel and quite close to legian. The rooms are ok, not fantastic.....bad bali plumbing. There are two pools and we had a room facing the back pool. Make sure you request a view of the pool and preferably ground floor. The other rooms are at the back and can be a bit of a walk and no view.
