Hi Lenny, I know Tommys wash their salad vegetables in bottled water as most of the better restaurants in Bali do. Tommys is owned by a New Zealand lady and she is pretty fussy about what happens in the kitchen. I have eaten salad in Bali for years and never had a problem the only time I was very ill was when I ate cooked calamari and I picked up a "gut bug" boy was it bad, hence I would not leave the country without Hep A and B shots as I am sure I would have been much worse.
