We can also recommend the garden bungalows at the Santika Beach hotel in Tuban. They have an indoor bathroom with tub, shower and washbasins and from there you enter a small enclosed yard with another shower. So there is no need to leave your things outside. We did not have any trouble with mozzies, as long as we did close the door between the indoor and outdoor bathroom. We never took a shower inside during our 2 week stay there!
