If you give the name of the hotel, then others can inform you of nearby restaurants etc. Tanjung Benoa has a strip of restaurants and markets. Some of the hotels at Nusa Dua are a little more out of the way, just depends on the hotel.
Taxi's are not as accessible as Kuta, I'd say they are more accessible at Tanjung Benoa...But your hotel receptionist at the lobby can call you a taxi to pick you up at your hotel. Some hotels provide shuttle buses for certain times of the day.
There are no shopping malls in actual Nusa Dua, but before you enter Tanjung Benoa there is a Galleria Mall and some shops there.
