Yes it would work in Australia, you would need an adaptor for the charger. The warranty wouldn't be valid here in Australia though. No idea if they are available over there yet or what the price would be. My son recently purchased a new phone over there and saved approx. $100.00 on the price in Australia BUT he will have no warranty BUT being only 17 he'd probably buy a new one rather than get an old one fixed!
