Hi,
We take all our money in cash. We section it into each day's budget. We allow $250 each day we are there. So on the front of each envelope is Day 1, 2, 3, etc. It works well as we only get changed to rupiah for that day or two. We end up leaving Bali with at least two envlopes or it pays for the room bill.
