Last trip we wandered into those watch shops you see around Kuta Square, called Bagus Watches, and similarly named. We have never bothered before and really only wandered in out of boredom.
Well I walked out with 2 watches in the end. Yes they are fake BUT they are a much better quality fake than on the streets, and alot different in design. Watches are fixed price and I thought actually quite reasonable.
I got a beautiful watch with beige suede band with chunky gold chain inserted in the band, its a guchi or guess from memory for rp90 000. Many have commented on it and it looks like its worth hundreds, not $10.
