We arrived back in Perth on sunday night flying Indojet.
Overall the flight was average. the take off was quite interesting - thought for a moment we might be flying to the moon with the almost vertical take off! With two in our party being aircraft maintenance scheduler and aircraft engineer we became a little concered with their facial expressions during take off !!! And it wasnt a gleeful look. They have certainly vowed not to fly with them again.
As for excess baggage - fly Garuda or make sure you have "0" excess baggage. where you save on ticket prices they sure make up for in excess charges. Everyone in front of us were charged excess as were we. People in front of us were only 3kg over and were charged. no allowances given. no boarding passes handed over till charge paid.
The bonus for the airline is they have good prices and a really good flight time, especially on saturdays. With that alone they will do well in the Perth/Bali market.
At least all the panels on the plane are so far still on the plane!!!
