I have never noticed the motor bike noise either, but geez, I have noticed the stairs.
People are so inconsiderate clip clopping up and down all hours of the night with hard soled shoes or flip flops. I know you have to get up and down but surely you can try and do it in a quieter manner?
Many years ago we decided that if we had to stay in a stairwell room we would avoid KP. Fortunately they know our likes and we haven't had to stay next to one since.
I'm not sure if it's the noise as much as the upset feeling I get at the lack of consideration that effects me most. Even if I'm not going to the pool I get unpset with the lounge hogs and the people that come home at 2am and start rearranging the furniture grrr. I guess I'm just a cranky old bag!!
