Didnt get to go to a lot of the places that i had planned to go to just not enough time but my opions on the ones we did get to are as follows:
Drops: Just love there food, there ribs are great and so is everthing else.
KP: The breakfast was good, not much else you could have wished for. The best breakfasts i have had in Bali would be the Padma.
Breakfast at Casa is also good. We had a pizza at KP one nite and it was lovely.
Seaside: Next to KP was very nice and my friend said it was the nicest meal she had in Bali. She is a bit of a vegie person and had one of the fish and vege meals.
Yutz: Had the steak there and it was good.
Tommys: Had lunch there and it was really good.
Ultimo: Had the set menu was nice but food a bit cold, still recommend though.
La Mode: The one upstairs just up from Possers above the supermarket.
We sent the soup back as it tasted like seawater. The smell was enough for me. Other stuff was fine. It was meant to be crab and corn soup.
Wayan and Friends: Had lunch there on day and was good.
Supermarkets:
Went to careforre and stocked up on Marther Tiller. Just love going there and checking out all the food and other items.
Also the supermarket at Mataharies in Kuta is also good for a look.
Also went to a Mataharies hadnt been to before and was not as busy as Kuta but got some nice shoes there. Think it was called Bali Galleria on Sunset road.
Surf Shops:
Went to the two together on Sunset road and they had a sale on.
Got my son boardies which are the real deal for 350,000 and 250,000
He really liked these and very good quality. Went to another couple of surf shops that where having sales and did well.
Wanted to find Climax one day as my friend wanted to get some bathers made and that day we covered 12kil walking as i had my speedomter on. Needless to say we were into bed early that nite. In the end we gave up and went and got some material from La Mode i think it is called and had them made at a Taylor near KP. Good job done but the linning could have been a bit smaller. Anyway know where climax is now and will be right for next time.
Well thats it from me and now looking forward to going back with my mum in November. This time we will be staying at Melati Apartments for 1 week and back to our favourite the Casa Padma for the next week.
I hate doing theses JBR's but because i love reading everyone elses feel obliged to do one.
