Finally got registration sorted out, thanks Ken, as while i was in Bali my yearly rego thing came to me and i dont know what happened anyway can post again now so here goes.

Flew with Garuda Business class from Perth with my friend and we where so excited as she hadnt been to Bali for over 10 years.
Flying Business Class was a real treat for us!!

We left on 6th July for 11 nites. I have been every year for the last 4 years. Normally with my Mum, boy was she put out that she wasnt invited this time. But being the nice daughter that i am i am taking her on Nov 1st for 14 nites so i am back in her good books again.
Anyway we stayed 7 nites at the KP and 4 nites at the Casa Padma.
I have previously stayed at the Mandira, Padma, Rambutton Cottages, Allia at Ubud and there other sister hotel and Casa Padma.

My thoughts on the KP are good. We stayed in S block on the ground floor which was good.
Good price
Pretty central for shopping and spa's
Nice breakfast overlooking the beach
Room good, nice bathroom.
Beds as hard as rocks
Pool in old block, i wouldnt swim in there as it was so murkey.
Pool in new block looked fine.
Overall i would stay there again, but i do prefer now to stay in smaller places.

Shopping
Geneva - excellant place to go early on your trip just to get used to what prices to pay for things and they have some nice things if you hunt around and compared to the shopping centres is cheap.

Animal Factory Outlet - Didnt get much here this trip, last time i did really well. They are moving to another place soon. Still got two pairs of black pants and a top.

Balistone - Bought 3 statues, 4 hairy lanterns, 1 water feature. Carnt wait to get them when they arrive. Having them shipped back to Perth. Husband going to love bringing them back to Bunbury when he flies in from work.

Serba Antik - Had curtains made for my front lounge. Great job and they arrived last week. They have every kind of fabric and highly recommend them. 6 drops and cost 13,500,000 included freight. I saw Krish who works there and he was most helpfull.

Ketuks Fixed Price Shop -Bought my son shorts and boardies.
Also bought daughter the shorts and t'shirt that has Toughen up Princess. Great place to shop for market shorts and t'shirts. My friend had a good time here buying stuff for her boys and husband and also is a good shop to go to early in your shopping to get and idea of prices.

Paintings - Kusnadi at jl Werkudara, Legion, bought 5 nice paintings and now have to frame them. The poor guy packed all the frames for me as well but i couldnt bring them home as the excess was allredy getting to be a worry.

Post office - Went to the Post Office next to the Bingtang supermarket and sent just over 7 kilo home and it cost about $100.00 and was home before me. No problem. The guy that works there is a bit of a crackup.

Spas - Chill was okay for me but my friend was very impressed.
We both really enjoyed the reflexolgy place Kenko sort of opposite the Indo National. We went there nearlly every day it was so good. Had the body scub at Melasti which was okay but not that private as i am a bit of a prude but my friend didnt mind and you feel so refreshed afterwards. A couple of friends that where also in Bali thought that Miricle was great but we didnt get time to go there.
Had a pedicure at the new bueaty place at Surawathi which even had a sterilizing unit. Never seen one before in Bali. Sorry about spelling not one of my better points.

Thats about it for now hope i havnt bored you to sleep. Feel free to ask me any questions and i will do one on other stuff we did and some of the places we ate.
Regards
Leonie
