Thanks Brent
Unfortunately, I need to be able to stand and push off most of the time. So, reef breaks are kinda out for me.
I wasn't a bad stand up surfer in my time and I know how to catch a wave.
In May this year I was out at LBH. It was about 4ish. Maybe 3-4'. The tide was going out. I had been watching this bank all day and had surfed it earlier on - in fact all week. There were lots of board riders out and I thought it was starting to peak. So I went out.
It was pretty crowded so I stayed inshore and just picked up the ones they missed. I was out for about an hour and caught some of the cleanest waves I've ever surfed there.
All of a sudden the stand up guys left. Have know idea why coz it was starting to kind of tube.
Anyway, I had it with about three other Balinese and a young kid about 12yrs old who was body surfing. We all could not believe the surf we had to ourselves.
That was my last day there - aahhhh the memories!
