my mum (64) has alzheimers, she cant even talk anymore and doesnt recognise anybody. Its like she is just a body with nothing inside. Since her mid fifties she hasnt been the same person and quickly got steadily worse.
We wouldnt in a million years be able to take her anywhere out of the nursing home for any length of time :(
