I just got back and I took cash, used Eftpos and used my credit card and never a problem. Eftpos and Credit card does incur a transaction fee each time you use it though. Also Eftpos and CC only use the bank rate as a conversion rather than the street rate, so we found we were getting more for our money when we changed it on the street rather than withdrawing from our card.
