We have a 5yr old and when we go next January it will be her third trip to Bali. In May my older daughter with her husband and two kids came with us, (they are coming in January too). The kids were then 2 1/2 and 11 months. No one got sick, but we made sure everyone had their raspberry cordial and Yakult each day. Have plenty of Aquium gel and antibacterial wipes on hand. The kids got pretty badly bitten by mozzies so we found a citronella oil the locals use, which worked great. Can't remember the name but it was a small green bottle. If they do get bitten you can buy a local product called "caladine" lotion cheap everywhere. Bali is great for little kids (and big ones!). Have a great holiday.
