Quick update guys.
Now only 4 sleeps to go, so I thought I would check progress on our holiday. A bit disappointed in Emms approach so far, she hasn't done a thing. I mean like even picking me a good plastic bag for her to pack my undies and picture of my pet sheep in. I will have a word with her as soon as she finishes mowing the lawns and gets dinner sorted.
Speaking of pets, you should see the dog and goldfish, I got cunning see and have been feeding them double for the last two weeks so we don't have to feed them for the two we are away. Well crikey they have blown up like Emms when she sees me being friendly with her sister.
The kids, well they are another story. Mr 11yr old knows it all it seems, and just does not want to be sold to the local university for scientific experiments, no matter how much I tell him that its necessary. We had hoped he would be injured during the last coupla rugby games and hospitalised while we were away, but no such luck.
The 17 (going on 30 yr old) is doing the sulks and trying the guilts on us, but I have insisted she stay with gran. And NO I don't care that its cold and scary at the cemetery, that's where she is staying. (They try it on don't they?)
The oldest seems okay, at 21 we trust her and I will allow an extra 2 feet of chain this year, after she complained bitterly of not being able to reach the kitchen last time.
By the way I have a do da on my computer that looks like a credit card but updates the Indonesian Rupiah to $1NZ. When I installed it a coupla weeks ago we were getting approximately 7500 to the dollar.
This bloody thing ever since has looked like those spinning gizmos in airports which update arrivals and departures. Its been spinning like a bloody top and is below 6295. If we don't get over there soon it will one for one the way its going.
Lastly I have been reading the reports re the bintang shortage, well harden up guys, they have been stock-piling (on my instructions) for when I get there.
Now 6290 since I started writing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
