I would not consider hiring a car without insurance, I would ensure that the excess is payable by our travel insurance.
I may sound silly, but I do actually have a brain in my head.
I have been to Bali 18 or 19 times and never driven. I have travelled to many other countries in the world and almost always hired cars and driven.
I think we might contact Struth's Made and check if he is available since he lives in the area.
I am definitely keen to drive around Ubud in March.
