I will never travel with Garuda again after meeting a aircraft repair engineer the other night .He was employed by Guruda a couple of years ago actually head hunted to work for them offshore .He lasted 4 months after what he witnessed he had 2 resign.He was disgusted he said of their safety standards and would not put his name 2 any of their repair jobs.He was actually about 3rd in charge of the maintenance repair section .The other scarery remark is that Australia is the ONLY country in the world that allows Garuda to operate out of .He said that this was largely due 2 politics between the 2 countries .Sorry if this alarms anyone but I thought everyone should no.In the 4 months he worked there 4 planes crashed but with no westerners on board guess what we never heard about it
