But I have sent quite a number of letters/packages over the last ten years and so far all have got through. Hadn't thought about it, but it could be that, in line with Gary's suggestions, I always type envelopes/labels and ensure I use the full address. I must admit that after reading about the deficiencies of the mailing system I always hold my breath until the article reaches its destination.
