and find that going with Singapore Airlines is more convenient for us because they fly directly out of Brisbane into Singapore, then onto Bali. We also like the idea of flying back home directly into Brisbane without going via Sydney/Melbourne first.
SA is very reliable, have always been on time, and price compares well to Jetstar once you start adding on all the bits and pieces.
Each to their own, there has been a lot of posts about Brisbane preferences. Maybe get them to look at their preferred departures days and times firstly to see what works best for them. Like I said, we both work till the very last minute on a Friday, so it suits us to fly SA because the flight leaves at 11-45 nightly. Easy to sleep on the plane then..
