When I was there last (a couple of years ago mind you) there were lots of beautiful fairy dresses for girls and spider man or batman etc suits for boys. I bought a fairy dress and a spiderman costume from the markets for about 30 000rp each for my friends kids (3 and 5 at the time) and they were absolutely adored. In fact "Spiderman" didn't get out of his suit for days LOL!
I'm pretty sure there are better quality costume places around as well. if you do a search something should come up.
Everytime I go over I always buy lots of "Bali" clothes for my niece (now 8). I buy of course summer dresses but then anything interesting like once I bought a tie up callotte type outfit which came with a little halter top. She loves them and even if she didn't or they didn't fit for long, they're still so cheap.
