We love the Griya. I can't imagine that, in your late 70s, you want to be climbing stairs, so I'd suggest asking for a ground floor room around the garden pool. It's a lovely spot, and the pool area is a lot quieter than the beach pool. Obviously, you can wander down to the beach pool area if that's what you prefer. Renovations to the beach pool are not scheduled to begin until about the middle of next year (so management told us in June), but of course that's Bali time, so anything can happen. They're turning it into an infinity pool. Enjoy your stay at the Griya.
