have a look at the link to AQIS about the cost and difficulty in bringing your dog back into Australia. My dogs are the very reason I won't go and live part time in Asia. There are many risks involved. Your dog will have to live a minimum of 6 months in Singapore and meet all criteria for acceptance by an Australian quarantine for a further minimum of 30 days.I seriously would not consider taking my dogs to Bali.
Taking your dog into Indonesia there is a quarantine period of a couple of weeks.

Basically though it is up to the vet in the state into which you travel ( in your case Bali) to decide when your pet may be released.
