We are leaving from Coolangatta too. Our flights have been re-booked for Saturday 6th Sept. Airasia did offer us full refund however it would have cost us a minimum of $1000 extra to fly out this weekend.
We decided to go back to work next week & just go next saturday. It is a let down but we could have left this weekend if we were willing to pay the extra money to another airline. You get what you pay for, so no hard feeling from us, just disappointed.
I asked Airasia if there was any chance they would cancel next weeks flight (as if he would have known) of course he said no, everything will be ok after 4th September, technical difficulties this week. finger crossed & lets hope so.
I have contacted our hotel in KL & they are happy to move our booking forward with no additional charges. I've emailed Febri's to ask the same, hopefully they will be able to accommodate us. If not we will book into another hotel for the last week, one way or another we'll get there & have a great holiday.
Now i have to go back to work on Monday & try & concentrate for another week when my mind will be on Bali, how cruel!
