Not a problem Katy. When I was there in February I gave him Rp50000 towards some medication (I have had a couple of heart attacks myself so I know there you usually get quite a few prescribed). A few days later we were having dinner in the restaurant across from the MBR, up on the first floor (I've forgotten the name of the place). Our table overlooked the entrance to the Melasti and we could see 'Sarge' saluting and chatting to the hotel guests as they passed to and fro. Several of them bought him a beer or gave him cigarettes. We had a good laugh and were pleased that he was enjoying his job and his life, despite his health scare.
