We are in Bali at the moment. As far as buying a villa in the complex, remember it is only a 5/10 min walk from shops, restaurants, beaches etc, so that cant be a bad thing.We have been told from an excellant source that the complex has entered into an agreement with a Western hotel chain (we know which one however at the moment that is not the issue). The outcome should be improved facilities, pool etc.As to whether or not to buy one, no one has a crystal ball, although it would be great.I have left my email address open if you would like to ask me anymore questions, hopefully I can help.
